Make sure the guide knows the exact route from the village in the beginning. It feels like you are wandering into a jungle but the steps do finally emerge. Really worth the climb. Totally deserted and stunning.
This fort has two ways to climb up... 99 percent dont know other way... it is from other side.. if you r with your family , go from aamby valley side it is safe and normal way with proper stairs... and if you want to experience some adventure try other way.. it is little difficult but not much risky...need strength...... 更多
It is best place, it has two routes once is near to the stairs another one is from bus route, in the second route we have to walk around 2Km to reach the stairs, totally 618 stairs. Lots of monkeys are there so careful with eatables, small Ganesh temples is there mid of the way, on the top one Anjeneya... 更多
Went in June. Was early morning and raining heavily. The steps were converted into dreams as the water was flowing over them. I could hardly see the steps. It was a perfect solo trek. Recommend it for all nature lovers.
Around 30 minute drive from Lonavla towards Aamby Valley. ~600 steps to the summit on top. It's a good flat land on top once you reach there. We reached when it was raining heavily and could not see much due to fog. But it was a good place to be.
We left pune at 7 from pimple Saudagar and reached bhushi dam nearby ghats at 8.30 had some breakfast there and then teaches korigad at 9.30 and started trekking... This trek has 2 parts... First comes jungle type road and secondly steps.. It's an easy trek. Took 1.5 hour to reach top and the view from there is awesome.. We... 更多
If you are reading this review to decide whether or not to go to Korigad, then its a very simple decision to make YES YOU SHOULD (Only if its Monsoon Season though). The Place isn't far from Mumbai\Pune, before Amby valley and after Lions Point Lonavala. We wasted our 30 mins by missing out on a left turn and hence... 更多
We visited as a small group. There is small car parking available at base of fort. There are very few signs to point to the correct direction but still you can't get lost. After some trek through muddy soil you reach the stairs that lead up to the top. At places water streams flow over the stairs. So be careful... 更多
When i first saw the fort i was wondering how difficult it would be to go on top. Intentionally started a jungle ride which deviates from main road. It was truly an exciting experience. Amby Valley view from top is just so beautiful that you might forget to take a breath. This fort deserves an entry into the list of... 更多
Visited Korigad as a day trip during the last July week end from Mumbai. Drive to the place is pretty straight forward. The base village is Pedh Shahpur. There is good amount of parking facility available. Its a less crowded place with most tourists settling down at Bushi dam and Lions point at Lonavala. Bringing your own vehicle is preferable.... 更多
