Lonavala's grand canyon, worth a short visit. Sadly, in the last decade since I was there, the only changes to infrastructure are a boundary wall and fencing along the cliff face, both done with no thought of aesthetics. Still, worth a few good snaps on a sunny day.
Whenever you go to this place it's mostly nice and cool. One weekend get away for mumbaikars half an hour from Lonavla. Just come here breathe some fresh air and eat corn and spinach bhajiyas.. yumm For best experience visit this place in monsoons to experience. Must visit when around lonavala for some peace time.
Its just amazing....a place where one can enjoy be it with family, spouse, close friends...the view is amazing, the crowd is amazing all are in their own world, its cool, and not to miss the mouth watering corn bajiyas......
Great View, nature at its best, nice place to visit...good breeze and sunshine.good for walking in morning). Lion point has a beautiful view and standing on the edge is thrilling for people like me who are scared of heights
It is slightly off the regular points. But it is worth coming. Driving to the point is what i will suggest you can see Lonavala lake too ( good for walking in morning). Lion point has a beautiful view and standing on the edge is thrilling for people like me who are scared of heights :).
A great point to start off the lonavla trip. I went there just before monsoons and hence there was less crowd. I reached there around 5 in the evening. The view was awesome.
