Greensboro Historical Museum is a time capsule. Everything from its beginnings to the present are represented here with very professional displays and interesting artifacts - all free. That is the good part. The not-so-good parts are few, but concerning. Firstly, displays are accompanied by a card which you must read - that part is understood - but small cards with... 更多
Enjoyed this museum, especially the old log cabin that goes back in history and the civil war information. It gives y ou a look into the past and how it affected the country's future. Love everything about this museum. Adults and children will enjoy it.
This past winter I took a stroll through the Greensboro Historical Museum, it has been over 15 years since my last visit. The exhibits were much more impressive than what I recall - this is not just for school field trips. I am proud of our museum and would encourage you to visit it soon.
This is an excellent museu to visit and its FREE! It capures all decades of Greensboro and we have no conecrion to Greensboro. Its not boring foe the young inquisative and theres a docent to help. Hidden behind or aside the museum is. Revolutionary cemetary so geneologists go check it out. The staff is quiet but helpful. Youll learn about... 更多
Our girls (elementary aged) love this museum. It is there favorite place to visit. While the entire collection is very engaging for adult history buffs who are interested in the area, the Voices In the City exhibit, with a 1900's town that the kids can explore and learn in is out of this world!
I have taken my great granddaughter to this museum several times beginning when she was about six. She is 13 now. She enjoyed it every time, even though it is not really geared for young children.
Loved the experience, has North Carolina and Greensboro history, cars, old fire trucks, civil war memorabilia etc. Needs a little bit more staff that can help with questions.
This museum really surprises you once you get walking around. You realize that Greensboro history is a lot more layered and fascinating than you thought. It's free. It's well-designed. And the exhibits are quite informative if you really take the time to check it all out.

Further developed is the growth of business and industry in the area and the importance of textiles and particularly denim. Multiracial and social issues are examined. A... 更多
