We had a group of 7 people, ages ranging from 2-40 years old and everyone enjoyed themselves. I do have to agree that it is quiet pricey, but its a fun experience. We got the "pay dirt" bucket. It was very easy to do and we got a whole baggie full of different stones. We also decided to get two... 更多
This place was very fun, but expensive. There are different size buckets starting at $15. The sifting stations make it seem very realistic and fun. Once you finish your bucket, the staff will sort through your findings and tell you what kind of stones/gems you found and give you a plastic bag to put your findings in and keep. Whatever... 更多
Stepped in to do some gem mining, the two people behind the counter weren't very welcoming (or busy). Asked if they happened to have a coupon in the discount book and they quickly said no they don't do coupons and I'd have to go to pigeon forge if I had coupons. His manner was rude. I didn't care about the... 更多
This place is awesome! It was perfect for my 8, 10 and 14 year old!! They had a blast sifting through to find their gems!!! We got the original bucket for $25.00 and they all found atleast 1 large stone and 2-3 medium stones!! Then afterwards they told the kids what type of stones they found! Would definitely do again!!
My son loved mining for his own gems. It wasn't that expensive, and he found some cool stones. The guy who explained the process, and the woman who showed us what we found were very friendly and knowledgeable.
We did this with our kids- 6, 10 and 17- it was quite enjoyable and they found lots of stuff. The man there showed us what each gem was, was friendly and knowledgeable and I ordered a cut pendant which I can’t wait to recieve. It's a fun little experience and we would definitely do this again, only I would... 更多
First, I researched the place before I went, so I was pretty sure I wasn't going to a stream outside with a rock pick and gold pan. It's a "touristy" little place in the heart of the hustle bustle of main street Gatlinburg. You buy a bucket of dirt guaranteed to have stones and gems. It's like an Easter Egg... 更多
My boyfriend and I stopped in here just to check it out, and ended up buying a bucket and really having a great time! I had done mining like this before, at a gold mine, and knew that to an extent, this was a bit of a "plant" or a gamble. We knew they put different gems in, but you... 更多
My 2 kids and I shared a big bucket (I can't remember which one...the one in the middle). We found a whole pan full of gems and had a blast. The guy was very helpful in identifying our gems and didn't pressure us at all to get them made into jewelry. I would definitely go back.
