We love everything about this city park. Our grands all love the fish farm and the the playground, as well as the ramp area. You can picnic and grill there. That's where we go to see the lightning bugs every year.
This is a small park (one pavilion) with covered grill area and a small playground. Perfect for a medium sized family gathering. This a great place for a break from the tourist areas and busy town of gatlinburg. It's close to town and a great park for kids to play free of charge. Also the kids can fish here for free without permit. Great outdoor fun for the family
Good place to stop with kids to take a break between attractions or show. Nice small play ground for young kids. There a creek near by but there sign saying water is not safe and the closer you get to the creek there a bad odor.
We visited this park before heading into Gatlinburg. Place wasn't packed and we got to enjoy the place to our selves. By the river we got to watch geese swim. The kids enjoyed getting their feet wet and skipping small rocks across the water.
It's a nice large open park but it needs swings. We spent 30 minutes letting our kids unwind and have fun before dinner and had a good time. For free fun the grandchildren loved this place. We came a couple of times before we could find a parking place, but they loved it
