Coney Island is a great place to walk on the boardwalk or in the sand. The amusement area has many new rides & Nathan's hot dogs & fries are a must when you come to visit. I remember riding the cyclone, as a teenager, & still love to watch all the people screaming as they take that first drop. The... 更多
An hour visit to Coney Island is all you need to feel like you are in a Woody Allen movie. From the tiny houses by the shore, to the attractions in the park.
I did not ride on any of the rides. Yet, I enjoyed my time here based on the boardwalk, the pier and the beach. It was so nice to get out on the beach and smell the salt air. Really a lovely old style boardwalk from days gone by. The nostalgia feeling is everywhere. Including some things could use a... 更多
Coney Island is pricey. As you'd expect for any midway type place. But the rides are awesome. There is a beach right there!! Seriously. A beach day on your NYC vacation is too cool. I never associate sun and sand with the hustle and bustle of NYC but wow, is this place cool. Nathans Original hot dogs are a must... 更多
The very first place we stopped by was Nathan's. My husband ordered hotdogs and I ordered the frog legs. I was not sure what to expect but the frog legs were not bad. They were too bland for my taste. My husband was rather disappointed with his hotdogs. The fries were okay. We skipped the rides and walked around but... 更多
My sister, daughter & I visited coney island this past week. We were so excited, but was disappointed when we finally got there. We didn't know that there only open the weekend until after memorial day they will be open. There are a few shops, restaurants, but nothing spectacular. The area is dirty, and just gloomy. Wasn't impressed and would... 更多
Like an old fashioned Margate meets modern technology. Great rides and great fun along with expected boardwalk fast food. A perfect day out. Kids say it was the highlight of their week. Even the train ride there was exciting!
This was mostly closed when we went there but there was a shop and diner open which were great. A nice walk down the promenade and pier on a cold but sunny day. Bet its really busy in a summer.
Coney island is mentioned in a few of Lana Del Rey's songs and my daughter has been wanting to see it for herself. The boardwalk is a nice place to stroll. This was more of a history type landmark visit for our family than an actual tourist visit. We were a little confused about where to park. We drove along... 更多
