Pinkies is a true dive bar, which is just what I was looking for. I gave it three stars because I don't think it is for everyone, but for me it is really a 4 star bar because of the staff. Showed up at noon, the door was unlocked but they had not officially opened. They still served us beer... 更多
Friendly people, eclectic group of locals and tourists. No food, just drinks. Jukebox interesting selections, Frank Sinatra to Blues, rock and country. Sing-a-longs with the locals are fun times. Leave cell phones off, people talk in this bar to each other. Good source of learning local attractions.
This bar is the type we would duck into and spend hours in usually. We stopped in and were never acknowledged or helped. Sad as we would have loved to have had the experience others obviously had. Maybe we came in on an off night, but after waiting 20 minutes, we parked it elsewhere.
Cheap drinks, more locals , fun bartender. We visited on a previous visit to Savannah and made sure to come back since we heard they may be closing. What a loss of a local landmark!

Sometimes on vacation you want to have an ice cold beer, and dig your feet in and sit with the locals. Pinkie's isn't for everyone but its a Savannah landmark. It's dark, it's dank, the locals are nice and the beer is cold. Jimmy Carter stood on the bar and announced his presidency for Pete's Sake (there's a plaque on... 更多
I have not been in such a great bar since I was in Boston! Everyone was friendly and had great stories. The bartenders could not have been more welcoming and the beers were super cold. If you are not a "bar" person I suggest you stay away! If you don't know how to handle yourself in a dive bar you... 更多
