We spent 3 days at Tybee last week in September 2016.It was very nice each day, very clean beach and were were able to walk on the entire pier(all free of charge unlike some of the coastal piers!) Stayed on 16th St last weekend and loved the long quiet walks on the spacious and secluded south beach. Great scenery, gentle sloping shores, wonderfully peaceful.
The beach is clean and inviting. The water was warm and clear. There were also quite a few shells for those who want to look for good ones. We wish we had more time to spend there.

It was a little hard to find parking (Labor Day Weekend), but once we did, we had no problem walking to get food and find a spot on the beach. I was surprised at how warm the water was as well! Loved the atmosphere!
We really enjoyed our time at South Beach, Tybee. I was a little surprised to see someone using a beer syphon, lol, but everyone was respectful. There are plenty of good shops and things to do around the pier. Food was fine, drinks were great, and water was fun.
Loved the beach here it was early in the season, it was quiet quaint and absolutely lovely. I'd love to spend a week on the island.
Tybee Island was a great getaway while staying in Savannah. The weather was great, the crowds were not too bad, and the water was cool! We had so much fun we went back twice!
