Very friendly and love taking in some history on my honeymoon!! We have actually now collected a lot of the bottles made here during that time frame!
If you want the "real" experience of Baltimore History, the Bromo Seltzer Tower is an overlooked downtown attraction. From the absolutely lovely Baltimore folks who give you the tour of the place, and the fascinating clock tower experience, this is the place to visit! Gives you a real feel for Charm City. always been enamored of this place so we did a tour. 20 minute dissertation covering the history of the tower and then we were able to go in the clock room. the clocks are being renovated but it was a very cool tour nevertheless
I had a little time so I made a visit, and I did do the tour. It is an amazing place, and the people were very nice. One downside, they are only open on Saturdays.
Passed by the Bromo Seltzer Tower, but didn't go inside as it was not opened. Nevertheless I thought it was quite a remarkable sight. This landmark is truly iconic to Baltimore and accompanies a rich history! Worth visiting if you know the opening times.

Bo let out to various artist as studios to produce and display their work there is a short informative lecture about the history of the and you get to see the workings of the clock.
It was a nice inexpensive tour and we learned a lot about the history of Baltimore and Bromo Seltzer. The only negative is it is not air conditioned so on those torturous hot days, I would skip it.
The Bromo Seltzer Tower, which at one time did have a bottle of the product on the top, is a city icon. The clock on all sides, when they are working, keep downtown folks on time. Today the building is used by artists. On occasion there is an open house.
