This Museum has one thing going for it--the interactive, movie shooting room. We toured this Oregon Film Museum as part of a joint ticket offering entrance to the historic Flavel House museum as well as one other location nearby. I was a little disappointed that it did not have all the fun that the website led you to believe. I really enjoyed the Goonies memorabilia but was disappointed in the rest. It really was not worth the price.
We wanted Goonies souvenirs and were told that this was a great gift shop. We arrived 10 minutes before closing and opted only to shop. If you are a Goonies nut or need a special gift for someone who is, then this is the place.
It's kind of cool. I mean, Goonies was filmed there, and they have THE ORV in the parking lot... It literally takes 1 minute to walk through the inside, though.
The museum was small, but it was very cute. Because the site had served as the local jail, a good percentage of the museum is actually not dedicated to films at all, and showcased some write-ups on local criminals, history of the jail, etc. The Oregon film museum portion was definitely more of a Goonies museum and did not represent... 更多
This place was really fun. Not only was there lots of goonies stuff it highlighted a lot of other films that have been filmed in OR. It is not huge but very interesting.
