We went to the Astoria Aquatic Center. It has several swimming pools. there is also water slides. There is a day use fee or for those who frequent it more often they can get a pass.
I'm a serious lap swimmer and this pool is just fine. I always get a lane to myself and the water is kept at an appropriate temperature for lap swimming. Water is clean and locker room is adequate.
Great kids area and the water slide is wonderful. It has slides and a good baby pool. Children under 6 must have an adult in the pool with them.
Our 6 year old granddaughter had a great time. She can swim enough to pass the test to use the water slide and enjoyed the "hot" tub which is not all the hot, but did allow her to warm up so she could swim longer in the pool.
