The museum exhibits are wonderfully curated. The layout over three floors with open spaces is beautiful. There are special community programs and a nice shop that features some local artists work.
Really nice contemporary works of art, one so huge as to blow one's mind! Lots of color and talent in this place.
Thank you for visiting! 更多
Finding parking is a nightmare. The building looks big but there really isn't much art being exhibited there. The 1st floor is a shop & restaurant. The next 2 floors are art. Above that, I have no idea what is up there because of the security guards. I've been here a few times & sometimes there is interesting art. But... 更多
i love MOCA, i had my wedding party in it, it was fantastic to do that in a museum, the set up was perfect, but i keep going to all sorts of events, it is a very active museum, right in the heart of Jacksonville
I visited during two special exhibitions that involved printmaking -- James Rosenquist and Andy Warhol. Both good and I saw a few Warhols I'd never seen before. The cell phone audio tour, while a little quirky in places, was excellent. The permanent collection is interesting as well.
I haven't been in years. I am slowly learning about modern art and having become more willing to try. I am so glad we went when we did - Warhol and Rosenquist. I know Warhol's works but Rosenquist was a great discovery for me. I met some of the staff. A security guard stopped to give us a critical analysis... 更多
I definitely disagree with the previous reviews. This museum has five floors, but only two floors are dedicated to art installations. The first floor is the restaurant and gift shop, the fourth floor is only administrative offices, and the fifth floor is the children's area (with a photography installation currently residing on the way to the restroom). That leaves only... 更多
There is so much to see and do in this multi-story facility. To enjoy the entire museum, plan to spend at least 6 hours.
We were pleasantly surprised w the amount and variety of the exhibits. We went on a BOA free Saturday, otherwise it would have been too pricey for what it had to offer.
this place has an awesome kids area upstairs. we usuall park at the king street garage and take the skyway to hemming plaze and MOCA is right there. what a great, cheap way to experience downtown and the life of the city. We also have left MOCA and walked a few blocks to the Bank of America building. they have... 更多
