I was hoping for more than a recorded welcome/introduction and a tour of only 3 rooms in the cottage. Especially lackluster after visiting the FDR Presidential Library and Museum and seeing the tour of his family home.
Great visit to a quiet place that was the essence of Eleanor. See Vall-Kill and the Stone Cottage. The National Park Service has a wonderful tour of both which are set deep into the woods down a narrow road. See where Eleanor lived and worked and where she and her friends developed their stances on civil rights and retraining workers... 更多
