Terrific blend of new & standard productions never disappoints. Top rate casts in "no bad seats" venue. And they support young artists while providing high school students with opportunity to see live performances. I am always thrilled to watch their expressions of appreciation. Something for everyone.
Just saw The Secret Garden. What an original staging of the production, an A+ for the set designer. The singing was beautiful as well as the acting. Everyone exuded enthusiasm for being on stage. The show has been extended. Don't miss this opportunity to see it.
My wife and I went for the first time to the Arden Theater see Two Trains Running by August Wilson. It was terrific. The acting was great. The sound, seating and sight lines were great. I would gladly go again when they have another show that interests me. If you are not from Philadelphia, the theater is situated in a... 更多
Have driven past the Arden many, many times and always wondered what it was like, I was finally able to experience it first hand. From the very first phone call to the attendents at the doors, everyone was very pleasant and genuine. We enjoyed the production of My Secret Garden. The theater group is very talented. They have an intersting... 更多
My husband and I visited the Arden for the first time and the play was very well done. The actors were talented and the scenery was creatively done. The Arden is a relatively small theater, where you have good visibility from all seats. There are close parking lots and plenty of restaurants near by. I was even to arrange for... 更多
I have seen several productions at the Arden over the last few years - "Baskervilles" to name just one, and going to see the upcoming "Secret Garden" in June 2016. The theatre is a great space, not too large, not too small, and allows for an intimate experience. The quality of the productions are top notch as are the actors... 更多
I was at the Arden Theater Company recently to bring our daughter to see the "Stinky Cheese Man." The play was fantastic for children and adults and very creatively done. The theater was charming, clean, welcoming, and just what you would expect from a community theater. I would go back again and again!
I attended two trains running at the Arden and upon arriving they made you feel welcomed. They had the lobby with complimentary ice tea and salads with cheese and crackers, very friendly crowd. They also had great coffee, hot tea, for purchase inside the lobby for $2. The seating is situated where every seat is a good seat so don't worry... 更多
Love the Arden! We have had a subscription for over 8 years and the productions are always first rate. If they are not terrific they are at a minimum very good. They choose very good plays and have a musical every season.....usually Sondheim. We already took a "leap of faith" for next season without even knowing the shows.
I belong to three theater subscriptions. This is the most engaging play this season--from the moment we see an old television clip to the curtain calls. Well written, well acted. Comic, (not a comedian), faces new challenges in a serious play after the decline of vaudeville as in the careers of Bert Lahr and Buddy Keaton. Friendly staff. Coffee and... 更多
