Our guide was dressed in period clothing and before long it felt as if he had also lived in colonial Philly. He was raised in the area and provided great insight and depth into the history and preservation of the historic district.
If you would like a bus to take you around all the Museums in Philly this is for you. This is not a criticism of the offering but having taken rides with the same franchise in other US cities, each other stop seemed to be a museum rather than historical or point of interest like other cities. It is however... 更多
It costs $27 for a day pass and $34 for 2 days. Tour lasts 90 minutes and covers most of all the main attractions. On board is a driver with a tour guide who gives commentary.....tips are shared between both (this is what the guide says when they sdk for tips appreciation!!).I enjoyed it and loved the ride into Fairmount... 更多
But the City Pass if you have the time and just enjoy yourselves. Issac did a great job although if you stop him - he will answer your question cuz he goes kind of fast sometimes, but he is a doll. There was a young girl with dark hair the first day - equally charming and helpful All this said.... 更多
I bought a today and tomorrow hop on hop off pass. I did a round-trip then figured out where I wanted to get off. Philly has 26 stops. All notable, interesting and also very close to other worthwhile places. Good value!!! Maggie was the best of four pretty good narrators.
This is a great way to see all the important points of the city without exhausting yourself (like we did) trying to walk it all. The tours offer multi day passes, and you can get on and off all day.
Took hop on hop off tour with Dan and Dan. Entertaining and fun tour guide with equally safe driving. Both Dans were really nice and personable. My kids were laughing and engaged the whole time. Great tour to use to get around the city. Pack sunscreen!
Great way to get to know your way around the city. I had 3 different tour guides and received great information from each one. The pass is good the whole day so you can use it for transportation too.if you find a tour guide you love you may wish to stay on the whole tour with that individual until they... 更多
On our recent visit to Philadelphia we didn't have time to see all that the city has to offer so we took a ride on the Big Bus tour. The guides are informative and witty and it gave us a good feel for places we wanted to stop and spend more time. For a few dollars more, we got the... 更多
The Big Bus tour was great. We went over Easter so was a bit crowded but we were on the upper deck the entire time which made it not so claustrophobic. The guides are very informative, with good interactions with riders, providing great historical as well as contemporary tidbits about the stops. The bus takes you everywhere worth seeing but... 更多
We took the tour over spring break. Our intent was to combine a tour with transportation. They will even pick you up at your hotel and take you to the bus. The busses are clean and comfortable. The stops were plentiful and placed well. The first time was a quick 10 min. trip. Mike was so helpful to advise us... 更多
I am NOT a tour guide kinda girl, so rest assured if I'm giving 5 stars, it's worth it!! You can do 1,2,3 day passes.. We did 1 day pass at noon and it was good until the next day at noon. This was more than our money's worth ($27/adult $10/child). The tour guides and bus drivers are so professional... 更多
My family and I just did the Big Bus tour this past Easter weekend. My only concern about this tour...when I next go to Philly how do I guarantee having Maggie again as my tour guide? She was the most informative, funny and engaging tour guide ever!!! Thanks Lisa, for giving us the deal of the century and thank you... 更多
My family and I visited Philadelphia Easter weekend and really enjoyed riding the Big Bus tour. Rode the bus several times around the city and enjoyed the different tour agents. It funny to hear the different interest points that each tour agent points out. They were all great.
