The hike to the cave is about half a mile and rises 600 feet in elevation. A bit strenuous for those who are not used to hiking uphill or used to higher altitudes. There is a nice sign with a map at the entrance. Unfortunately, no one warned me that it was a rock climb down into the entrance. I... 更多
I love caving, so here's the good, the bad, the crazy, and the beautiful. The Good: After the moderate scramble down the mouth of the cave, it opens nicely with a mostly dust and small rock floor. Walking is easy and the ceiling is high. The stalagtite & stalagmites are at the end of the cave, and take about 15... 更多
After a relatively short uphill hike, you are greeted with the cave entrance - a jumble of rocks you have to climb down into the cave. This gives you the feel of a real adventure. We had an underpowered flashlight which made the cave seem spooky. On the way out, we were greeted with a couple of loud kids coming... 更多
This cave is a short hike into the Huachuca Mountains. One must slide down some tall rocks to enter the cave. Once in the cave and away from the opening, it is totally pitch black in there. We used flashlights and a palm beacon to light our way. There are lots of interesting formations in this cave, no admission charge,... 更多

Walking around the cave and seeing the formation was out of this world. .. just wish there was more to explore. Son completed the junior cave... 更多
There are several items of interest that make up "Coronado Park", but this by far is the coolest. It is a natural cave, and is very much wild. Before you depart, I strongly recommend you bring the following things: a lightsource (a headlamp would be best, I know they may look "geeky", but if you are really interested in seeing... 更多
Situated in the Coronado National Monument on the southern border of Arizona, this is a nice short cave to explore. It is safe for families with even small children and you cannot get lost. just be sure to take 2 flashlights per person to be safe. Have fun!
