I bought a membership when I moved here and it's paid for itself over and over. This is a great place to go in the winter and summer. It keeps my kids interested for at least an hour at a time. Often the kids want to go to the playplace at the McD next door after the dino museum. Good,... 更多
We loved visiting the museum, but it is quite small compared to most others. My son and I learned a lot about dinosaurs, and I was really impressed with the volunteers that we got to watch chiseling out the bones. I would definitely recommend visiting if you have a child that loves dinosaurs!
Family rate for entrance fee. Numerous displays. They had displays of dinosaurs that would move and have sound when you pressed a button. Kids really liked that. If you have a young one who is into dinosaurs, this is a good place to take them.
The Dinosaur Journey Museum is a fun little place. Very interesting and informative, clean and well kept. You can watch the techs cleaning fossils and making casts. Kid will love it. It is well worth the time to stop and learn about the many, many fossils found in the area. The displays are very impressive
Been a few years since we been here, not much has changed as a matter of fact, I can't think of really anything different except they took away an upstairs portion they used to have for snacks/parties. It's a cool piece of history but was short lived for the boys, we did a couple laps again to let them go... 更多
Fantastic little museum. Great for kids and adults. Family admission price is $25 for the group. Plan to spend about an hour sizing up giant dinosaurs and experiencing an earthquake.
We visited Dinosaur Journey as we had some spare time. there are lots of displays and information targeted to adults, but also some robot dinosaurs with noise associated. The robots may be great for 7-9 year olds, but eh noise detracts a bit from the adult focus and may be too loud and graphic for younger children.
There is a video of the founding and history of the museum. There are many fossilized, real bones that have been obtained in the western slope area. There is also a section of the museum where students conduct research and cleaning et al of finds. Overall, a worthwhile visit for your children.
We thoroughly enjoyed the few hours we spent going through this Museum. It is an absolutely astonishing array of items that have been collected through the years from this great historical area. The docent was informative and friendly and added to our visit. Our friends have been there several times and enjoy taking new friends to it every chance they... 更多
