This small Military Museum in Downtown Little Rock packs a lot into a small museum. Named after Douglas McArthur because he was born here. Take 2-3 hours and get a great lesson on all kinds of military campaigns. Great information on the Civil War in Arkansas.

Walked the grounds and viewed the statues and designated areas commemorating/recognizing the various sacrifice of Arkansas military in numerous wars. The museum was very well done and we learned a lot about McArthur and his contribution to military history. Well worth the 90 minutes we spent!
The house itself is quite nice. there are different rooms that depict different people. There is a lot to see and it is at no charge. To the right of the museum, there is an art museum that is also no charge and usually has activities for children.
We were driving through the neighborhood looking at some of the older houses and stumbled upon this place. It was actually closed at the time so we came back the next day. Loved it!! Beautiful building and grounds. Lots of great historical artifacts, definitely worth the time
This is a must do. Admission is free, but you will be asked to make a donation. Get a brief history of General MacArthur and Arkansas' military men. There are lots of exhibits, and a huge park surrounding the museum. Kids will definitely enjoy this place.
A must see museum, lots of wonderful info and displays. We were impressed with the museum, famous West Pointers and local AR military. The staff were helpful and cordial.
