Beautiful park with modern architecture celebrating the four human freedoms (speech, worship, from want, from fear) identified by President Roosevelt, hence the name of the park. Great views of Manhattan's east side skyline any time of the day but the best time for photos is between morning and early afternoon.
The FDR Memorial Park is exquisite in its simplicity, a magnificent tribute to FDR and a beautiful park to enjoy. Located on Roosevelt Island in the middle of the East River, the park requires some effort to get to. The best way to reach the island is by tram that leaves from 60th Street and Second Avenue, The ride takes... 更多

We loved our visit to the Four Freedoms Park. Our tour was so interesting. The location gives you the best views of Manhattan but also provides a history lesson. A+!
