Forget the big, overblown musicals or star-driven plays that have taken over New York - COME FROM AWAY is the real deal. Funny, sad, clever, ingenious, truly theatrical - this is the one that you'll be telling your friends and family to see. And you'll never forget it. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!
We were very lucky to attend the opening night of this truly amazing show, and being able to do this on Broadway, well let's just say this crossed a couple of things off my wife's bucket list. Due to our excellent working partnership with one of Ontario's largest and most prestigious colleges, we were invited to the opening night as... 更多
Maybe I liked it because I'm Canadian but it was one of the funniest, well done musicals I've seen. This dramatizes how tiny Gander, Newfoundland accommodated the people on the planes diverted from US Airspace on 9/11. I hope New York theatre goers see this - we Canadians know that newfies are funny without having to try, and kind beyond... 更多
This was the PERFECT venue for Come From Away as it is an intimite theater. Aweome show in the perfect place. If you are tall, the seats in fron of you are close so be sure to get an ailse seat.
I saw the play The Humans on Dec 28th at the matinee. Very good. Reminiscent of August Osage County but not so cerebral. Very well acted. DO NOT USE THE COAT CHECK. I handed two coats and a shopping bag to the man at the bar downstairs. I laid it across the bar and asked him if he could hang... 更多
We are so sorry to hear about your experience at the theater. We appreciate you letting us know. This is... 更多
Saw "The Humans " last night. Very entertaining but somewhat predictable dramedy of a thanksgiving dinner in Chinatown. The challenge was no intermission in cramped seating. Most useful tip check your coat and use the bathroom prior to the start of the play.
We are regular theatregoers, both on our trips to NYC and in the U.K., and whilst we chose this play because of the awards it had received, we had no prior knowledge of the story. For us it was one of those evenings that you remember, well acted, believable and with a message. We were in the stalls, our seats... 更多
This afternoon we saw The Humans at this medium-sized Broadway theater. The show was just ok, and touched on one of my pet peeves about NY theater lately, that mental illness is played for laughs. I do not think that there is anything funny about that, but the audience laughed at each line. The theater is old and the seats... 更多
My friend and I saw a show at the Schoenfield. We sat on the Mezzanine level - four rows back - great seats. The mezzanine seats are leveled in such a way that you have great views from all rows and there was ample leg room. However, we were disappointed by the cost of drinks at the bar. I ordered... 更多
The Humans, currently playing at the Schoenfeld Theater is a story of a typical middle class family's Thanksgiving dinner. The play runs 90 minutes and does not really tell a story. The parents bring the grandmother who has Alzheimer's to dinner at the younger daughter's new apartment in Chinatown (in NYC) which she shares with her older boyfriend. Their older... 更多
