This has to be one of the most amazing National Park around. First, don't go during Spring Break long waits but still worth it. We took the elevator down and walked out. You really learn what shape your in. Make sure to eat before as food is scarce. We loved the different formations. The youth of our day need to... 更多
So glad we made the trip! We rode the elevator down and did the full self guided tour of the large room. It was a full 2 hours as we looked at everything. It was all amazing and we are still talking about it today. I can't imagine what it must have been like to discover these caverns in the... 更多
What an amazing site. We went on the tour to the lower level and well worth it. We also took a self tour of the large cavern and it is a site not to be forgotten. Would be a great experience for the children. Excellent sites

If you have a couple hours to spare, stop off at this nice museum with some very interesting exhibits. Art gallery has a nice area for local artists.
This is a sweet spot in an otherwise charmless town. Interesting historical artifacts, local and important NM art, and other items of local history. Worth an hour while on the way or back from the Caverns, which are unfortunately the only reason to be in Carlsbad city as a tourist. This museum is free of charge as well.
