Got turned around, no pets allowed. Cape cod is not very pet friendly as we are finding out. It happens, just wish we got the chance to walk this looked great
This is a Unique approximately 1 mile hike. It starts at the back of the parking lot of the Marconi site. You start out among stunted trees, but as you head down to the cedar swamp, the trees become huge. The walk takes you on a boardwalk over the swamp and another world far different than where you bega the... 更多
One of the coolest places I have seen - right in the middle of the Cape! A very short easy trail to a quiet, serene, magical place. Beautiful reflections in the still water and the dappled light is just breathtaking. We went at about 9:30 AM in mid-April. Only takes maybe 1/2 hour and we saw no one else. If... 更多
This trail is easy and full of varied surprises. Walk in open field as well as amongst some Atlantic White Cedar trees in a swamp. The path through the swamp is artfully done with curving plastic-lumber planks. We really enjoyed this Hobbit-like experience.
This lovely, easy walk is like walking through a fairy tale place; green hummocks, little pools of water, and White Cedars. Located in Cape Cod National Park, just go there. Wear sneakers - some of the trail is on a board walk. you can drive to the trail head or ride a bike from the rail trail. Easy for little... 更多
I've lived on the Cape my whole life and never walked this trail until today! The boardwalk portion of the trail winds through a cedar tree grove and is really cool. My kids loved it, it was fun and a little spooky. The trail is flat and just a little over a mile, so perfect for the whole family. A... 更多
In all honesty, with the abundance of hiking trails and nature in Cape Cod, I was expecting a bit more. The trail starts out just as a regular path in the woods, then it goes into the swamp area where there are the raised wooden paths and this part takes about 10 minutes to walk, but the swamp itself is... 更多
All in all trail was fun and easy. Unique with the boardwalk that goes through the swamp. 1 mile hike and very worth the time. Would not want to go on a hot humid day - the mosquitoes get insane. Today's weather was cool and breezy so it was great!
