This is a nice out the way park, it is very clean, since it is off the beaten path, it remains uncrowded. It is a very nice place to walk, nice views of the downtown skyline and the boats going by. Probably your best bet is to come here near sundown to watch it set. Very nice and peaceful
This is a nice place to stroll along the waterway and look at the boats and skyline. We were there at sunset to watch the sun sink over Point Loma. The light was brilliantly reflected in the building across the harbor. The park is easy to access and there is free parking.
This outs a small and quiet place to relax or enjoy watching the boats go by. There are a lot of similar places around the bay, but this is one of the best because it's not touristy and therefore relatively private.
I attended a day event at this park. Great place for a day time stroll or simply taking in San Diego. It's a stones throw from the airport, Gas Lamp & other places of interest
great place for a quiet family picnic...has a small playground and a bike path..has a small beach where the kids can play. offers a great view of the marina as well as downtown San Diego.
Beautiful section of continuous trail going to Liberty Station or toward Seaport Village. Plenty of parking, "Go" bike rentals and a small beach area with sand. Restroom available. Views of the city as well as boat watching.
We like to go here after dropping people off at the airport, which is right across the way. It is free, and easy to get to and leave. It is right next to the water and Marina and there are restrooms.
