I've been visiting SD from Phoenix every year since I was about 14 (a long time ago) and have been on a whale watching tour. Decided to go with hubs, daughter (14) and my Mom because I found a Groupon for Flagship. We all got in for about 1/2 the regular price. It was well worth it! First, the service... 更多
Sit up top and enjoy the views of San Diego as you depart the Pier. Park in the USS Midway lot ($12), but go early to ensure a spot. The crew is fantastic, narrating the tour as we were out to sea. There's so much to learn about the marine life and the military in this area. We were forewarned... 更多
Would certainly recommend this harbor excursion. Take the 2 hour trip as they will cover both sides of the harbor. History and information is beyond your expectation. Beautiful view. The speaker (Dana) did an extraordinary job and hardly hesitated the entire trip. The price was a good value for what you will see and learn. We are sure you will... 更多
The food was sub par for the cost. On top of that, three of the four members in our party had upset stomachs the next day. We ate the fish and chicken. I don't recommend Flagship for a dinner cruise.
We opted for the full bay tour. I have lived in Southern California most of my life and had never taken this cruise. First, we had beautiful weather, of course. The narrator was very informative. The view of the city from the water is gorgeous. We enjoyed seeing the Navy ships that were in port. There were a lot of... 更多
This is definitely worth doing when you visit San Diego. It is good value, being $38 for adults for 5 hour trip and if you get your hotel to book it, then the price was $32.00. The staff on the boat is very attentive to the passengers, ensuring they we informed of what to see on the trip and making... 更多
This tour is actually two one-hour cruises put together. That is, you go out to either the north or south bay and come back in to drop off/ take on people and then go to the respective direction you have not seen. A lot of this cruise involves Navy ships. It is very interesting. However, if the Navy is not... 更多
Had a very nice time, staff were good, price was a little above average, but turned out being worth it, seeing several different types of whales, dolphins, and other normal marine animals.
We saw a humpback whale, a few pods of dolphins and some sea lions on our tour. The gal from the Birch Aquarium was really great. Loved the extra volunteers on the boat. I thought snacks were reasonably priced considering. I do think the pictures at the end you could purchase were overpriced. The worst part was when someone would... 更多
We took the 2 hour Flagship San Diego Harbor tour and it was a very nice experience. There are two 1 hour segments that you can buy separately or combined: North and South. Both tours are a great way to learn about San Diego's history, especially as it relates to the Navy. The South Tour was really interesting in that... 更多
We took the 3hour whale watching with Flagship. The staff was helpful on the tour. It was a great day, we say 300+ dolphins, 2 grey whales, even a hump-back whale! Our group of 7 had never seen whales and dolphins in the ocean, so it was a great 1st experience!
What a super way of getting to know the harbor and military information about San Diego. Our tour guide was wonderful. He talked non-stop in an informative but fun way about all the ships along the harbor. We found the South Harbor section more interesting. It's very inexpensive...think we got a groupon for the tours. The parking lot is right... 更多
We were in San Diego last week and we jumped aboard one of the 2 hour cruises. It was a great time ..we saw both sea lions and dolphins. I highly recommend bringing a jacket of some sort, the day we went it 85 out but the ocean wind was very chilly
