Beacon st is very long! From the common to Mass av. it i very rich in architectural homes from the early days of Boston. After BC area it becomes a bit more diverse and some new structures mix with the old. Some interesting and good restaurants along the way. There is a nice stretch with "young vibe" around Coolidge Corner.... 更多
Beacon Street is a major road that runs through several Boston neighborhoods and a few of its western suburbs. The most scenic area of the street to walk on is in the Beacon Hill and Back Bay neighborhoods of Boston. Here, the street is lined with historic buildings, attractions, shops, and great restaurants. My favorite end of the street is... 更多
Great place to see dozens of Boston's best historic structures and places. The area is full of beautiful old buildings, restaurants, churches. A must when you are touring Boston.
Beautiful area, lots of history, wonderful old buildings, easy to walk around (but hilly). Best done when you are going to a destination -- a club, or restaurant, or to the Boston Common -- rather than just sightseeing.
Historic and beautiful. We rented a very small apartment on Beacon St. for a long weekend. Was well worth it as it was close to a lot of historical sights. The homes/buildings in this area have beautiful architecture. There's a few structures that are extremely old and have been well maintained such as several churches...breath-taking. Boston Common is within walking... 更多
Beacon Street is a historic avenue in Boston, linking downtown to the western suburbs, passing the northern boundary of Boston Common, Public Garden, through Back Bay residential and restaurant areas, Kenmore Square and Fenway along the way. There is so much history on this street!! There are shops and restaurants! You pass the Cheers bar, you can stop in the park if you want to, there is just so much to do! My husband and I went to a great Irish pub in this area that we highly recommend.
Great historic street of Boston where you can walk around and enjoy the sights. There are nice homes, restaurants and bars throughout the area.
We started at the top of the street and came down towards the water. Passed the famous cheers that of course non of the people who drank at that bar could of afforded to live near beacon st. Beautiful multi-million dollar row homes. Nice afternoon walking.
