This little gem in the heart of Homestead is one of the better things in that part of Florida. Definitely worth the time to visit and sample all the different fruits available. The tours are very informative and interesting, Iva is friendly and fun to have as your guide.
We had an afternoon left in Florida City and wanted to see something that would not require a lot of driving and could be done in 3-4 hours. We weren't exactly sure what to expect so this was a real surprise. You can do a self guided tour of the park but the best way to see it is to... 更多
Great park. Lots of tropical trees of various types. A relatively unknown gem. Samples of fruit given out at visitor center (but you can't take out or buy any fruit unfortunately). I encourage you to visit this park.
When you are tired of the urban Miami scene this is a good day trip and diversion about an hour's drive from South Beach. I would suggest that you also include a quick trip into the Everglades to go along with it but it is a unique agricultural park set in a rural Florida area. Not the most "beautiful" place,... 更多
Enjoyed our walk round here, but it was very frustrating that lots of interesting trees had no labels. If you are native to America you may know them already. For foreigners they may never get the opportunity to see these again. Left with too many unanswered questions. Then discovered there are tours around the park! Not mentioned when we paid.
Based off recommendations on trip advisor we decided to take a road trip to homestead today to check out our agricultural area and stop by the fruit and spice park. We were so happy we did. First, it was a beautiful day to walk thru the park and learn about all of the acres of trees. However, much to our... 更多
We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tour through the Fruit and Spice garden. The tour takes you through various types of fruits and Spices from the Florida area and around the world. Iva, our guide, knew the ins and outs of the plants--- also explaining how they are grown, how the fruit is prepared, and where they are grown. She also... 更多
While visiting a few places in the Redland on a recent Sunday we decided to visit this county-owned park. Admission was $8 per adult which includes the tram tour and the ability to taste countless fruits. We first took the tour which was wonderful. The guide was very informative and allowed us to try different fruits and spices. It was... 更多
Stopped in today for a tour. Met some other nice folks from other states also taking the tour. Guide was great, nice tram ride--comfortable. Only problem was we sometimes could not tell what tree/plant she was referring to because they were not labeled, all she did was point. A number, letter or something like a sign that the guide could... 更多
