The staff are helpful in explaining the site and the guidebook you get (not to keep though) has a lot of information on the site as you walk around. There is a path to follow around the site that takes you past all the main things to see. Some of the entrances you go through are quite low so if... 更多

The site is quite old and well documented, with extensive ruins from the 1100-1300 time period. There is a small museum detailing a timeline of cultures in the area with artifacts from several cultures. The site is easily walked and you can enter a number of buildings... 更多
National Monuments are "Baby National Parks" and probably do not get enough attention, but they can be as fascinating as the big ones. This is a very well preserved site with a completely restored and huge kiva. We happened to be there on the National Park Service's 100th birthday, so entrance was free. If you like ruins this a great place to stop. The have restored the great house to perfection. The surrounding buildings are interesting. It is an easy walk around the compound. The film is a must watch; it gives an in depth history of the area.
Don't bypass this Monument! Amazing ruins; great museum and don't miss watching the film before you start your walking tour. The front desk staff were very informative. We felt we didn't allow enough time to thoroughly view all items in the museum but had to leave for our next overnight destination. Will re-visit when back in the area.

The ruins of a 600-700 year old large village lay before us. The self guided tour took about 45 minutes. The helpful staff provided a notebook the gave information for each marked... 更多
This is a great place to walk through and a great place to bring your kids. There is a wealth of knowledge preserved in the small museum and the ruins are breathtaking. It is like a hidden treasure, off the beaten path with not a lot of visitors, yet so large and well preserved.
