Very good farmer's market at the Ferry Building. I would strongly recommend the CowGirl's Cheese shop. Check out the Hog Island Oyster Bar . Nice place for lunch and checking out the Bay and the Bay Bridge.
Not a rough-and-tumble daily market or a farm market, but a great collection of fine specialty food shops and restaurants. You can grab beautiful cheeses, wines, organic produce, meats, etc. for a picnic or eat or snack at one of the many attractive restaurants, bakeries, and coffee shops. Be sure to explore the bay side- some of the places are... 更多
My husband and I visited here while on vacation after at least two people recommended it to us. Being from northeast Ohio, we're pretty spoiled with Cleveland's West Side Market. But, we were duly impressed with the unique local food stalls and dining options here. It was fun just strolling through each of the vendors' sections. We sampled a few... 更多
I know it is touristy, but it is fun. The locals must do some shopping there as well considering the fresh produce, seafood, and meats in some of the shops. There are several restaurants that look good and kiosks selling interesting snacks. There is even a “real” book store. I always go there and spend some time looking around and... 更多
This building used to handle 50 million people every year! Now we came through the building on a ferry from Sausalito. We enjoyed seeing the building and reading the placards, but it is now a series of small shops selling soaps, meat, oils, and unique gifts. We are not shoppers but we did appreciate it wasn't selling shirts and junk... 更多
Loved visiting the market on Saturday morning. Lots of shops selling unique goods, a few food options, and coffee shop. We visited the small store and found some much needed organic produce, local wines and cheese.
This is really all about little shops, so if that's your thing, you'll love it. We weren't really looking to do a bunch of shopping for unique trinkets, so we just strolled through, grabbed some Humphry Slocombe's and left. We walked past another day when there were tons of food/art tents set up outside, but it was so incredibly packed... 更多
You can find all sorts of foods and restaurants here. The fresh fruit and vegetables, bakeries, gelato--it's all here. It's worth a stop and you can easily get there by bus, or walking.
