I wasn't overly impressed with this site, it is the grounds where Lincoln spent part of his childhood so it was fun to be on that same ground that he walked. I spent less than 30 minutes here, there is a supposed to be a good hike here but I didn't have time for it. Worth a stop if you... 更多
If you are doing an Abraham Lincoln tour include this location. The park ranger came over a gave us a good quick overview of the site and what happened here.
located about 15 minutes away from birthplace site=you might as well check this out as well. refurbished old cabin(not Lincolns) is open for viewing. beautiful peaceful area. enjoyed walking out to the fields and creek. good signage here as well. bathrooms were clean. neat to walk where Lincoln as a boy did.
Who doesn't love President Lincoln? This park gives you a little background on Lincoln's boyhood. We walked down to the creek and were in awe of how clean and clear the water was. Lincoln must have loved living here as a boy. We saw the replica of the cabin. There's a larger building that was a tavern and will be... 更多
Not a lot to do here but look at a replica of the cabin and walk down to knob creek. It's cool to know my kid got to play where Abe Lincoln played. There are no picnic tables but the Ranger let us spread our blanket under the trees and have a picnic lunch which was really nice.
This place continues your journey with Abe Lincoln. The one part was not open the day we were there so we have no idea what was in there. The grandchildren looked in the cabin, then we walked down to the creek. They enjoyed knowing they were walking in Abe's footsteps. There are also very clean restrooms here and the cost... 更多
Fairly consistent for a National Park. Watch the movie, check out the museum and then go out on the trail to see some sites. You'll learn a lot no doubt about Abe and see some good sites. Nothing fancy or that will take too long
Just another stop on our Lincoln educational vacation. While this Lincoln home is fairly new to the NPS oversight, it is worth the stop only because of the close proximity to the other Lincoln home. The NPS rangers are knowledge on the topic and very helpful, but there is no visitor's center and only a small shack for them to... 更多
This is not that interesting in and of itself, but if you are already going to the Lincoln Birthplace anyway (which IS worthy of an hour) it's worth a quick (30 minute) stop here on your way to or from the Birthplace
