Small, but high turnover parking. We stopped by for a quick jump in the ocean. Rocky once you swim a little out, easy currents, but kids should be watched.
Kahekili Beach park is a great place to spend a day at the beach. There are restrooms and some shade areas, soft sand and gentle surf (based on conditions). It's also a good snorkel spot where you can see corals, fish and often a turtle or two. Recommended.
Swung by for a mid morning snorkel. Water was still cloudy from the weekend storm, but the beach was pleasant, the water inviting and the parking lot only half full. That changed later in the day. The picnic area, restrooms, and shower make this a good place for families and older folks. Other than a rogue wave or two, we... 更多
Just north of the park area is a living reef that is a great place to snorkel. We were told by locals that The Westin Resort is one of the very few that takes care of the reef by controlling runoff which eventually kills the reef (as seen along much of the coast in front of resorts). The park has... 更多
We came to Kahekili Beach Park because it was easy and like ten minutes from where we were staying. You sort of pull up, park, and snorkel. And, like so many Maui beaches, there is a place to rent snorkels on the beach. First of all, the beach was totally obscured by condos behind it. However, eager to see a... 更多
We were looking for a relaxing afternoon to sun and do a bit of snorkeling and Kahekili Beach Park served our purpose well. After lunch on a picnic table, we hit the water. Snorkeling was not fantastic, but there was a nice variety of fish and kept us well entertained for a half hour or so. As people unfamiliar with... 更多
it's beautiful and you get to eat or cook your own food, there's a bathroom and benches. it's a nice place to go sunbatting or relaxing in the sun.
This beach was a great place to visit. North of Black Rock, with a nice parking lot, bathroom facilities. The boardwalk was closed off, which was unfortunate as my husband and I wanted to run along the beach but ended up having to weave our way though the other resorts. It did get us some hill workouts, though! The beach... 更多
We went here when it was raining so hard in the kapalua bay. It is only about 15min drive distance from the Kapalua bay yet this place had no signs of raining. It was sunny. Because the entrance to the water is sand, it makes it easy for nervous snorkel beginners to enter the water. I saw so many fish... 更多
