The Pools Of Oheo are an extremely popular spot among visitors. They're also a disaster waiting to happen. See the daredevil jumping off the highway bridge into the water below? He doesn't know what could be waiting to hurt him if he misses the spot. Then, do you see the big rocks surrounding the pools? They washed down from the... 更多
I found 3 gopros at the bottom of this pool with just a snorkel and mask. Been coming here since I was a child and it is a must when in Hana.
When I was here more than 20 years ago, it was free. Much was free. However, how you pay $20 to get in. However, the fee you pay to enter this national park will also permit you to enter the park again to see the sunrise of Mt. Haleakala. That also costs now. Such is life. It was much more... 更多
Towards the end of a long afternoon and quite warm afternoon, these pools were a refreshing break! We should have hiked the Pipiwai trail first and then jumped into the pools. I would be nervous taking children here as there are just so many places one could slip and fall on the rocks. I even had difficulty crossing some of... 更多
We made this stop while doing the road to Hana. Since we already had visited the Haleakala summit a few days before, it was free. Otherwise, be prepared to pay $20 for entry. Wish we had time to actually swim here, but it was near the end of the day and still had to drive back.
Sadly, I was underwhelmed by my visit to the Seven Sacred Pools. To get to the main pool you have to traverse a very rocky, very slippery stretch. This is definitely not accessible for everyone, and honestly is kind of dangerous. The water in the pool was disappointingly murky for the work it took to get there. The waterfall was... 更多
The pools are really not that much different from what we had already seen on Maui and may not have been worth the drive for us. We drove one hour from Kaanapali to the beginning of the Hana Highway, then two hours on the Road to Hana, and then an additional hour just to get to these Seven Sacred Pools.... 更多
Several of our friends highly recommended the pools. We jumped on our rental and off we went on Road to Hana. The drive is SO long!!! The road is way to narrow - this is for another review. The reason I mention this here is because I don't believe the hours we spent driving to get to the pools made... 更多
We were excited to swim in the 7 Sacred Pools but they were closed due to flooding. We were able to see them and if they weren't flooded looked like it would have been fun to swim and play in them. Have to go back!
