We were only able to do the 40 minute train ride and a little shopping, but were sorry we didn't have time to do more. Good narration on the ride, fun feeding the animals. Beautiful scenery through orchards, gardens and tropical greenery. Only a few steps up to train...okay for us seniors, and interesting.
beautiful place but the tour guide Mana was so unporfessional. he looked like he was either high or hangover or both. making jokes about his sister getting drunk on mai tais before trying poi? we had kids with us and that was a no no!!! we are also christians and do not believe in alcohol consumption. how this guy is... 更多
Despite the rainy night, we had a fabulous time. Dinner is under a huge tent so everyone stayed dry but it made exploring the grounds a little wet. Food was excellent and bar service was really good.
We had a terrific time on the tour. The plantation is beautiful, the employees are friendly. Just the right length, not too long especially on a warmer day.
This category should actually be split up into two separate excursions. The train ride, and the nature hike. You can choose to do just the train ride, or both. We thoroughly enjoyed both aspects of this trip. The train ride is narrated with interesting tidbits about the plantation and it's history. Half way through, the train stops and riders are... 更多
We rode the cool train into the grounds and then got off for a nature walk - it was strenuous!! Steep and slippery, but there was a mom with her toddler strapped to her front who did it. Kai, our guide, was so knowledgeable and helpful!!!!!! He was so patient with the people with small children (I really don't recommend... 更多
I took the 10am train ride. The ride through the working farm/plantation was very scenic and our guide was knowledgable. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed feeding the donkeys, goats and pigs. The children on the train loved it. After the 40 minute ride I grabbed a coffee and bakery item at the Sweets Shop and browsed the... 更多
This is a short train through a plantation revitalized from the 1930s. It is informative. Very laid back. There are wild pigs that you can feed, so not to wild. Funny. The cashew trees are worth the tour.
Excellent overview of tropical fruits. Did you know that the pineapple is not native to Hawaii? We didn't know either! Beautiful scenery. It was fun to stop and feed the pigs.
We enjoyed the 4 hour train, hike, lunch, and orchard tour. What a delight! The time was so well split between all the activities. It felt like you stepped back in time when you boarded the train. It stopped for us to feed the animals then the next stop was for us to hike down into the "jungle". The overall... 更多
