Lots of mass times to choose from. Lovely people in the parish. Friendly priests. They also have mass times available in their Catholic School on Holy Days.
It was a wonderful experience attending mass here. The congregation was so friendly and made visitors feel welcome! Beautiful church and beautiful people!
Story and paintings were very interesting. Walk thru cemetary was also interesting. Not easy to find. Be patient and enjoy the local scenery. There's a private garden open for a fee in the area that's quite impressive as well, but sadly don't have the name. I'm sure someone at the church will have it. Please support the upkeep of the... 更多
Went to the 9:00 mass and found the choir to be outstanding, the preaching to be inspiring, and the Mass to be reverent uplifting. The church is not a tourist attraction, but a great sanctuary for those who believe.
We were visiting from a cruise ship. We always try to visit the Catholic Church when we visit a city and this was certainly on our list. It is a very beautiful old church. Sadly we were there on a Thur. and could not attend Sunday mass. Well worth a visit if you go there.
One of our visits during our Cruise Ship stop. Lovely old church, and whilst we were unfortunately not able to attend a service - we were fascinated as with all of the churches we saw during our Cruise around the Islands.
Sadly, my first visit here was for a funeral. It is a beautiful church. Please take a moment to step inside if possible while a service isn't being held. Visit in conjunction with a trip to the Lyman Museum.
The Catholic church in Big Bear is beautiful inside and out. And they welcome visitors, since Big Bear is a tourist town. The priest and everyone is very friendly. The Easter mass was spiritual and just what I hoped for. What was not so great was their Easter Egg Hunt, great idea but way to many kids , and very... 更多
We have attended mass at St. Joseph half a dozen times, and the congregation is always friendly and inviting. It is a traditional Catholic mass, however, it is much more fun and upbeat and lively than my home church. I never get sleepy! We find ourselves singing the songs throughout the days that follow. We love coming here.
This lovely old church is a quiet haven and a good spot to have a quick sit down rest while touring about. Located across the street from the Lyman Museum and Mission House it is well located for a quick visit. Open most of the time unless a wedding, funeral or service is in progress.
