We tried this bike route with our 14 and 10 year olds. It was a little difficult riding up the mountain/hill for the 10 year old so we walked most of the way up. It was definitely worth it though for the fun ride back down. Views were beautiful. There is also a single track path that parallels the larger... 更多
For visitors it is not a hard loop to negotiate, a good day ride, pack a picnic. Fun, flowy trails, views and wilderness. Not a beginner trail, it is a great intermediate trail.
Cache Creek had plenty of trails that offered amazing views of the forest and surrounding mountains. You could go on the well traveled trails or off on more serene and peaceful trails to contemplate nature. I even saw a couple of moose along the creek while hiking. It was beautiful and very good experience.
I looked at all the things to do in Jackson Hole, I was on a Coach tour and decided that a walk through cache creek would be nice. September in the fall. Walked 2 miles from the car park up the valley, returned along the mountain side. Crossed the car park and through the woods to Snow mountain took 6 hours,... 更多
You can leave a car at the "trailhead" and return to it if you want, otherwise stash a car at Smith's. We had 7 in our party including hardcore kids. A fun ride was had by all. some mildly steep sections from the pass into Game Creek but soon over and walkable. It was a reasonable trek on blacktop bike... 更多
We liked that we could pick up the Cache Creek Loop right from town, very convenient for sure. We walked a ways but had to cut it short as the sun was setting. Nice forests, creek and mountain views. Not so crowded in wintertime. Enjoy.....
In 35 years I have seen much growth of traffic on the trails close to town including these and it calls to mind the designed purpose of public lands: they are here for us to enjoy. Thus, when you find a lot of traffic, whether on foot, hoof or two-wheeled, please realize they're just like you, they wish to enjoy... 更多
The town of Jackson is surrounded by public land, but everyone goes to the National Park. Hitting the local National Forest instead is free, I could bring my dog, was less crowded and full of beauty. There is a much larger parking area at the Cache creek trailhead. The Game Creek side is smaller, but fewer people. The trails are... 更多
Great trail for hiking or biking. Just minutes from town and you are in the forest along side a creek. Nice views and chance of meeting game.
