Excellent little visitor center that talks about the Building of the dam, the additions to the dam and the new additions to the dam that were made recently. You can visit the dam in about 10 minutes and it is well worth it if you like things like this.
Just because we saw the sign, we decided to check this out. Very interesting. The view is awesome. I will be bringing a group through here in a couple of weeks. It is a must stop for us.
We stopped to see the dam and we were driven to the front door. We took some time learning about the dam and the history was amazing. A great place to stop
This is a nice place to get out and stretch your legs. It a great view and an interesting small museum. They will transfer you by golf cart if you need assistance walking to the museum from the parking lot.
An easy stop just as you leave or come into Cody. A bonus that it's free and they even have volunteers in golf carts who will drive you up to the building so you're not walking in the blazing sun (they appreciate a small tip). There's a cute little gift shop and the volunteers are full of information on Cody... 更多
My husband and I recently visited the dam. Park your car and you can take a ride to the dam by golf cart. The tour is free and the dam is quite interesting.
Teddy Roosevelt stated that the 50 mile stretch (after leaving Yellowstone headed to Cody) was the most beautiful 50 miles in the US. It was pretty darn impressive. I thought we'd landed in Arizona in parts. Absolutely beautiful!
