My husband and I truly enjoyed our visit to the Railroad Memories Museum in Spooner. It was full of surprises and the tour by staff members very interesting. Sometimes small town museums such as this are so much more than you expect and this was the case at Railroad Memories!
The guide was very informative about the History of the Railroad. Lots of things to look at and get a history lesson of the railroads. Pictures, tools, equipment, memorabilia quite a collection of if you like the railroad!
Really enjoyed our visit to this historic attraction. Spent a good share of an afternoon there. There is lots and lots of old Railroad memorabilia, a guided tour, much of the original depot has been preserved.
The Railroad Memories Museum is housed in what remains of the Spooner Chicago and Northwestern Depot. At one time this station was 13 rooms including a restaurant, plus a roundhouse on the other side of the right-of-way. 22 trains per day came through here.
