We stopped at the Amnicon Falls State Park while we were ATVing in the Brule, WI area.
The state park is located right off the main highway and close to the ATV trails. We actually drove our ATVs to the park, but had to park them out near the road because they were not allowed into the park.
My wife and I stopped here for a hike while we were on vacation for her birthday.
The park is absolutely beautiful. There is simply no other way to describe it. A beautiful stream/river flows through the park and over waterfalls and rocks. We were here in on the last day of September and the fall colors were just starting...
I drove from Hayward to this state park with my wife and friends. The drive was easy and this park was great. The hikes are not long about 3 miles but you could do more or less. There are numerous falls to see. Get there very early for better pictures of falls when there are no or less pees around.
