Great quiet hiking place. I usually bring along a camera or two because there are usually many deer and quite a few birds. There are always special events year around but I like coming early morning when not so many people are here.
Awesome programs and economical for families as they charge by the car. My kids loved the snake, owl and bee program, as well as the star gazing series. They do fun activities around all the seasons. It's also a nice place to hike, and there are even some geocaches through out the area.
We first became acquainted with Mosquito Hill when they still had their Butterfly House. Unfortunately, the BH was closed Fall of 2014, but there are PLENTY of other things to do there.
