We visited on a Monday and there was just a few other people. I enjoyed the morining. For a small town, the historical aspect was very nicely done. I would visit again. It gave a great history and perspective of how the area was settled.

We could have spent hours here. There is huge wealth of history here to read, and enjoy the tour. Several building to go though, blacksmith shop, variety store, school, church plus many more!

Interesting to see how the Swiss ended up in New Glarus. Several buildings to look in. The volunteers were very willing to answer any questions.

The village itself is not very big but has some quite interesting things. It is a nice place to hang around for a day. Overall it was a nice experience.

Marie was a wonderful guide who obviously takes great pride in her heritage and her community. She explained how New Glarus was founded and told about each building as we walked through them. I'm glad we... 更多
