Absolutely loved this place! Had fun seeing all the babies especially the fawns. I am still in awe that I was able to pet such a beautiful, timid creature that even liked my hand. At 4 weeks old it was so precious! Hubby loved the speed of the tortoise! Great family or couples place to visit.
We visited just before Labor Day week-end and once again enjoyed our afternoon visit at the walk. The grounds were a little rough from the summer visits of many and the recent rains but we were able to navigate without any issues. A nice place to visit while on vacation.
In my opinion the price to get in is a bit much, I understand they have a lot of animals they need to take care of. But for my husband and I and our 3 kids it was $60! The kids did enjoy it and we spent about 2 hours there. If it wasn't such a hot day I'm sure... 更多
We were in the area and decided to go see the animals. The biggest problem for us was trying to push a wheel chair through the park, we ended pulling the chair backwards most of the time because there is no real path that is wheel chair friendly. When we complained about it we were told that there have never... 更多
I'm not 100% sure what this business does? I don't know if they take in wildlife that needs care, or what so it's hard for me to judge them when I don't really know. Deer run free in the park. Petting zoo is great for the kids. A baby goat had hurt his front leg jumping around that morning, according... 更多
I am sure in its day it was a nice place but we found it depressing. The admission for two adults and one infant was $29. Perhaps this fee can help out the animals. It was a 90 degree day and I would not suggest going there on a hot day. Most of the animals looked dead. I questioned if... 更多
It is always fun visiting this area with our family and grandson. The deer come up to you and eat out of your hand, there is a petting area, western area with a jail, refreshments and plenty of good shots for pictures and memories.
I am a sucker for all things wildlife, so couldn't pass this up as we were driving by. First of all, it was a rainy day in the height of tourist season so I won't hold the hordes of screaming toddlers running around against the place. It is a tourist trap and I guess the rain brought in all the... 更多
Fantastic opportunity for children to get close to and learn about animals. This was the third grandson I have taken to Wilderness Walk and all three left with smiles and later conversations about what they saw and did there. Considering the smiles and memories made the price of admission is a value.
We planned a trip to Hayward to take in the fishing hall of fame and thought going to the Wilderness Walk would be a fun attractions. But paying $24 dollars for two seniors? Not going bother going in.
