My friend and I hiked Lapham Peak. I was impressed with the quantity of trails and nice vistas especially from the observatory tower. We had a nice warm sunny day in February - very rare and much appreciated!

Great trails for running, walking and hiking. We love going there. YOu can even catch some music at times during the summer. Bring a picnic basket and enjoy.

This is a gorgeous park with great hiking trails. The difference than most southern Wisconsin trails is there is some pretty good hills and lots of up and down and fairly challenging hikes. Most of the trails are for cross country in the winter, but you can snowshoe on the Ice Age Trail.
