We enjoy having the interurban trail for riding and walking and it's a great way to get to neighboring towns but be care of bicyclists. The serious riders can be quite rude and disdain casual walkers.
Love biking the trail, though a few spots could use some attention. But overall it's always an relaxing and peaceful ride. Great way to just unwind and enjoy Ozaukee county. Looking forward to warmer temps to start again!
I have taken the Ozaukee Interurban Trail north past Grafton and south past Thiensville. Not particularly far in either direction, but it is a nice place to ride. The trail goes through downtown Cedarburg, Grafton and Thiensville, allowing options for eating or resting.
This is a great trail any time of year. It offers easy bike rides, walks, runs, etc. It is even plowed in the winter (at least in Cedarburg). It does run along back yards in different areas but the residents seem well aware of it and we haven't had any trouble (like dogs running out). It is loaded with kids,... 更多
I live on the bike trail and it is a great way to get downtown without having to travel on city streets. tends to get quite busy in spring summer and fall
This paved multi-use trail has something for all. Rural country biking to in town shopping access. There are several rest stop with water and restrooms. There are a few areas that use city streets. It us well marked.
We have biked this trail from many different starting and ending locations and it is a very nice trail. Not too difficult, scenic changes as you go through towns and between towns. I like the open areas best and going toward Port Washington after you travel through Cedarburg and Grafton is very nice. This trail can be busy in town... 更多
We have been riding this trail for many years. You can now ride from downtown Milwaukee to Oostburg on the trail with only a few on road stretches. There are also many restaurants and attractions along the way. And the whole trail is paved.
The Interurban Trail is one of Wisconsin's hidden gems. Unless you know someone who has ridden it, or purchased a bicycle recently, you may have not heard of it. 20+ miles of trails through woods, over streams, and through small cities and villages. Very picturesque. Nearby interconnections to other trails that can take you for even longer adventures. A must... 更多
A perfect place to watch the creek ramble by, the scenery is beautiful, any time of day or night, and what ever the season. follow the river walk to experience the bridge from creek level or the path that runs behind the church, so peaceful, a true hidden gem.
