We located the portion in Cedarburg and although a local told us it was used by bicyclers rather than walkers, we did see people walking along it. It appeared to be easily accessed and walkable but we did not have the time to walk it except to go over the bridge and take in the view. It had a nice... 更多
The Interurban trail is a beautiful, paved trail that sort of goes behind the towns it winds through, though there are frequent outlets. I generally walk the trail, many people run, ride bikes, roller blade, walk dogs, I believe anything non-motorized is allowed. You will not regret the scenery!!
This was the second time we have biked the Interurban. Last year we started in Sheboygan and biked ad far as Port Washington. This time we did the southern half. The trail is well-maintained. For the most part it is a dedicated trail. However, in some towns (most notably, Port Washington) the route is in surface streets. In smaller towns... 更多
Excellent, paved, multi-use trail (bike, run, etc.). Lots of shopping/eating options near the trail in all of the cities it travels through - Belgium, Port Washington, Grafton, Cedarburg, and south from there.
Great way to bike or walk between communities and connect to nature. There's always something interesting to see, and we run into friends frequently. Friendly place.
I've biked the Interurban Trail with friends a number of times. A favorite trek is starting in Cedarburg and going through Grafton to Port Washington and its lakefront. This will take about 60 minutes for the 10 mile trip. It's city streets for a good part of Grafton, but the trail gets more rural and woodsy between Grafton and Port... 更多
My husband and I spent a few days in Pt. Washington in July riding the Ozaukee and it was a great experience. The entire trail has an asphalt surface which is well maintained. We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites because the trail runs right in front of the hotel. We arrived early afternoon and were able to jump... 更多
This was an easy ride there and back..Very nice ! We saw deer in the river and lots of birds. The trail was clean of debris. truly an enjoyable ride!
This trail is great for bikes or walking. This is a well traveled trail as well. You can ride/walk from Lake Michigan all the way to the City of Milwaukee. You connect to the Milwaukee parks Oak Leaf trail. There are not many bathrooms on the trail so plan accordingly.
