There are the most spectacular views from this park from the top of the bluff. Campsites along the way give the visitor a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors, and all the sights, sounds and smell of the country.
The trails are a little hard to find and short, but the views of the Mississippi River from the Mound Point Trail were worth the trip to this small, quiet [except for the trains] State Park. If you visit here, make sure to also visit the Stonefield Historic Site directly across the road from the Park entrance. There is a... 更多
Very beautiful better views then Wyalusing, great pool nearby in town with waterslide.Great trails and very clean bathrooms. Nice quiet and very peaceful.Plenty of room between campsites!! Also has a very nice historical village nearby
We come here all the time and it never disappoints. The park is beautiful and bathrooms are clean. This was the first time I have camped through a thunderstorm and boy was that loud. The views are beautiful though and the hiking trails are clearly marked.
Seriously, a lot of trains, close, and loud. Family of seven, there late June. T O N S of mosquitos, really just relentless, all day and night. Don't know if this was purely timing, as I was at New Glarus a few weeks earlier and there were zero. Site was decent, bathroom was nice. Enjoyed nearby attractions, historical sites, etc.... 更多

We enjoyed staying at this park to camp for a long weekend. However most of the night your sleep may be interrupted by trains passing constantly. They didn't wake me however woke my husband up quite a lot. A must see is across the street at Stonefield. A great little recreated old city.
Amazing view of the Mississippi River! The park is a little out of the way, but once you get there and either visit or set up camp it's worth it. If your adventurous and don't mind being near a cliff try to get camp sites A,B,C, or D....they have amazing views of the Mississippi River as well. I wouldn't recommend... 更多
We just got back from a 3 day stay at the campground. The sites are very large and pretty private. The campground is very clean and well kept. The bathrooms were also very clean. Very scenic views by the Mississippi River.
