Not much in the way of RV parks in the Yakima area - after a long drive decided on Yakima Sportsmen having stayed at State Parks in the past and being happy with them - not today - pull-through sites are $40 and back-ins are even more at $45. The park did a really nice job with the short interpretive trail. There are several signs to read to learn about the native vegetation and animals. There was also fun fact sign about the day a couple fisherman found an alligator in the pond. What a great idea to share a fun piece of history. More parks should do that!
