The island is lovely. Finding a vineyard by happenstance was an extra treat. They have a nice selection and no obligation to buy. It's great just to visit.
Whidbey makes some yummy wines. The ambiance (and the resident cat) are great. And we used their picnic tables for a leisurely wine and cheese and grapes and baguette lunch.
We lived 45 years on the Central Coast of California between the Paso Robles and Santa Ynez wine regions. At one point, we were members at 13 different wineries simultaneously and, over the course of years, members at almost 100 at one time or another. Needless to say, we accumulated lots of wine since we knew what we liked. Far... 更多
Winemaker Greg and his team are so on top of their game. The wines they grow and harvest on-site make some of the finest wines around. Don't take my word for it, go in and taste them. The Rosato, White and oh, the reds are all divine. They have a fun summer concert series so bring your chairs and have... 更多

Arrived just after opening on a Sunday and the only people in the place at that time. Staff looked after us very well. Nice selection of red & white wine plus a port. left with 4 bottles of very drinkable wine & a bottle of the port. If you like wine it's well worth a stop. Also look out for... 更多

My tasting room attendant was Sean and he took time to explain the wines, grapes and regions. He offered his own take on some of the wines and answered... 更多
Out of state guests,my wife & I enjoyed visiting to celebrate 25 years of tasty wine making at Whidbey Island Winery. It is a beautiful setting as well.
Just a small wine tasting room but it was full of young couples enjoying themselves and the wine. The staff is very friendly and everything is informal. Lots of bottled wines along the wall...I like the Primitivo. they charge for wine tasting.
We visited on Father's Day, and there was a special cookout going on. We stayed at the bar to do our sampling. Even though the rose wasn't on the sampling menu we also sampled that - probably our favorite. We left with four bottles, a great purchase.
