We stay here every October and love it. The local dog club hosts an agility trial here so the park is very convenient. The park is very well maintained. With that said, they are sticklers for State Park rules.
This may not apply to regular visitors as my stay was as a firefighter when the park was used as an Incident Command Post and Base Camp for large fires in the area. This was the second time I've stayed at the park during large fires. The park staff were very accommodating and supportive to the firefighters. I wish to... 更多
Beautiful park with lots of room in camping spaces and in general. We experienced excellent customer service when the spot we were supposed to move to after the first night was still occupied after check-out time. We had contact with the State Park employee at registration, the Park Ranger and the Park Volunteer Host, and everyone did a great job... 更多
Campground is fairly quiet, very open with a few trees for shade and lots of room between sites. Not many bugs at night. Boat launch is pretty steep and the Columbia river's current is fast-5 mph. Tough to go up stream but the river feels slower up closer to the dam.
