This was our first visit and we had our two granddaughters (both under 5). The museum is free but donations are accepted. It's a small facility without any onsite eating. We parked a few blocks away and used the Tacoma Link line which stops a block away. The girls had a great time. It was crowded but keeping them entertained... 更多
Lots of stuff for the kiddies. Sadly, nothing for their older siblings. Been going there for years but with youngest grandson now 7, nothing there of interest anymore. They need to come up with a few 8-10 YO fun stuff.
We spent several hours in this museum with a three-year-old who found so much to explore and play with. So many different areas, each well laid out. For example, the water area had several stations that allowed kids to splash, pour, and divert, protected by provided rubber aprons. There were rope structures to climb on, slides, art supplies. Great.

And the activities in Olympia were more interesting. The kid got BORED at the Tacoma one after about an hour, and spent the... 更多
Went with my husband, adult son, and his 2 year old daughter. This place is just amazing. So many things to do even for little ones on a rainy day.
I attended a child's birthday party there; the party room was clean, well equipped and staffed. The truly amazing part of the day was the interactive play rooms. Water play, painting engineering and imagination reinforcement; kids just allowed to be kids in a welcoming and safe environment of exploration. It made me want to release my inner child.
Been taking our 6 year old Grand Daughters there several times when visiting from out of state. Always enjoyed them selves and did not want to leave. No entrance fee, donations only. Limited parking available.
This is not a big facility, but seems to keep all of the children busy, all the time with few waiting or lines. Inexpensive membership and an enjoyable adventure for toddlers, tots and pre-schoolers.
Lots of activities for toddlers and kids up to about 12 years old. The price is free and a donation is suggested. They have lockers available for use. Over the years I have been to the museum with 1 year olds to 4 year olds. It's equally fun for all. They have forts the little ones can crawl around in... 更多
