I don't go by there very often, but each time I do a find a guitar pick, or the remains of a 'funny' cigarette, and occasionally some poetry left behind. Worth a visit for anyone who remembers Jimmy.
Beautiful memorial, and worth every second of the trip. We will be making a return trip in a few days to pay our respects once more to the great musician/human being that was Jimi Hendrix.
I went to see this site for a second time. I would not call it a site, more of a peaceful remembrance. If you want to pay tribute to Jimmy Hendrix this is the place. It is very easy to find and no one was around during the weekday when I went.
My wife and I just stopped in to see the memorial. It has been updated from what I hear. The grave has s large tome that you can see and sit in. There were a few teens there listening to his music and smoking some weed. Which I believe Jim would not have minded.
It very nice and well done but he was never my cup of tea his music was not for me but that is just me I think it was nice for those who like his music
Stopped by real quick. Unfortunately, there was a local artists doing some rubbing that take 2 hrs each. So didn't get to see the inside columns. Bummer. Either way, the Memorial is a whole lot larger than I would've thought, and is really nice. I still got to get several great pics and got some small rubbings of the headstone... 更多
