My family and I decided to check out the Lynden Pioneer Museum one rainy day in March. We were very pleasantly surprised! The museum is quite large with multiple floors and lots of different rooms set up. They had everything from old cars, buggies, and wagons (some in better shape than others), to farming equipment, to church items, to an... 更多
Any time I have company from out of state I always take them to the Lynden Pioneer Museum. It is so well set-up, you will love all the past years articles and they even have small rooms set up with barber shop, printing machines, soda bar, old cars, old horse and buggy displays, etc. You just can't help but saying... 更多
old school museum; lots of stuff and always you find something new. I take my out of townees on their first visit and I still discovery something interesting
I enjoy this museum. It's so interesting even my grandkids enjoy it! So fun to walk thru 'streets of former Lynden' and peek in the windows to get a feel of how things were in those days. Not just Lynden, but typical of any small town in that era.
We had a great time at this museum. The staff (volunteers?) were very helpful in getting us started and explaining what we would see. There is plenty there for everyone to find something of interest. We especially enjoyed the carriage collection in the basement. It could be cataloged a bit better maybe, as I wasn't always sure what I was... 更多

We had our 7 and 9 year old grandchildren with us and hoped it would be of interest to them. Well, the museum deserves an A+ because they could not have been more fascinated. The museum's history included... 更多
This is a fantastic overview of the history of Lynden and the surrounding area. There are specialized areas including a military room and a really comprehensive carriage collection, but so much more. It's really a great introduction for young people and a trip down memory lane for the not so young.
The folks in Lynden and surrounding area have done a wonderful job of putting together the history of the area. You will really get a feel for what it was like in this corner of the Northwest as settlers came in and established this community - from the dairy industry to the loggers and berry growers. So many items were... 更多
I liked that it was 4.00 for seniors. It had a lot of everything - horsedrawn carriages, war memorabilia, farming equipment, a mock setup of what Lynden used to look like in the early 1900s, and a real variety of collectibles. It was 3 stories and very interesting.
