If you want to know about cranberries & cranberry farming, this place will tell you. They have many old historical photos and equipment.
This is a nice little museum that explains the cranberry business in the area. It is free (donations accepted). There is a nice walking tour around the cranberry bogs where you can see close up how they grow. There is also a nice little store with cranberry products to buy including cranberry ice cream.
Great little museum, enough stuff to play with to keep the kids interested, I had no idea this industry was so large in the pacific northwest.
This is a family outing, or with friends. Very interesting. They have a little gift shop, and you can buy really great cranberries.
This is a small museum with a self guided tour. It gives the history of cranberry farming and how it has evolved. I would love to be here in late October when they are harvesting the cranberries.
We stopped by for a quick visit and took the self-guided walking tour. We saw everything in less than 30 minutes. Our kids (ages 9 and 12) were pretty bored, but it was a gorgeous day.
I was disappointed because there's not much to look at. I thought there would be more exhibits. The cranberry candy assortment was interesting, tho.
